In Marvel Superheroes Secret Wars, writer Jim Shooter gives the readers what they want: big battles between good and evil, but also moments of quiet contemplation which show superheroes are people made of flesh and blood. Like everyone else they have their doubts and fears. I find comfort in that in these trying times.
Stripmaker Hallie Lama heeft het venster van de Karoesel voorzien van deze toffe Halloween-illustratie. Behalve erg grappige strips maken, is Hallie ook barman en operateur.
En bovendien een heel aardige kerel die ik binnenkort maar weer eens moet bellen voor een koffie-afspraak.
